These terms govern your use of Divine Tuition's tutoring services and website. By booking a session or purchasing a package, you agree to these terms. Divine Tuition is operated by Divyan Ranjithakumar.
We provide online tutoring, application support, and exam preparation services as described on our website. All sessions are delivered via video call. We reserve the right to modify the services we offer, though any changes to a package you have already purchased will not reduce the scope of what was agreed.
Every new student is entitled to a free 20-minute consultation call before booking any paid sessions.
Payment is required before sessions commence. Single sessions are paid in advance. Packages may be paid in full at the time of booking. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Prices are listed on our pricing page and are in pounds sterling (GBP). We reserve the right to change prices, but any price change will not affect packages already purchased.
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will forfeit the session. Repeated late cancellations (three or more) may result in a requirement to prepay for future sessions.
If a tutor needs to cancel a session, we will offer a rescheduled session at a mutually convenient time or a full refund for that session.
Refunds for single sessions are available if requested before the session takes place. After a session has been delivered, no refund is available.
If you wish to discontinue a package after it has begun, we will refund the unused sessions at the single-session rate. The sessions already used will be charged at the applicable single-session rate, and the remainder refunded. This means the per-session discount applies only to completed packages.
Example: if you purchase the Oxbridge Core (12 sessions at £35 = £420) and use 4 sessions before discontinuing, those 4 sessions are charged at £45 each (= £180). The refund would be £420 - £180 = £240.
We match students with tutors based on subject, exam requirements, and learning needs. If you are not satisfied with your tutor match, you may request a change at no additional cost. We will accommodate changes subject to tutor availability.
We expect mutual respect in all interactions between students, parents, and tutors. We reserve the right to discontinue services if a student or parent behaves in a way that is abusive, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate. In such cases, unused sessions will be refunded per the policy in section 5.
Materials created by Divine Tuition tutors during sessions (notes, feedback, resources) are provided for the student's personal educational use only. They may not be reproduced, shared, or sold without our written permission.
We provide tutoring and guidance to the best of our ability, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes including admission to any university, examination results, or grades. Our services are supplementary to a student's own efforts and their school's provision.
Students receiving Free School Meals (FSM) or Pupil Premium are entitled to a 25% discount on all packages and single sessions. Verification is required in the form of a school confirmation letter or equivalent documentation.
International students experiencing financial hardship are welcome to contact us to discuss reduced-rate arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
Providing false documentation to obtain a discount may result in termination of services and recovery of the discount amount.
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. Active clients will be notified of significant changes by email. Continued use of our services after changes are communicated constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
