Divine Tuition was founded by Cambridge undergraduates who think the supervision is too good a format to leave locked inside the university.
Our Method
A Cambridge supervision is one or two students and a tutor in a room for an hour, with nowhere to hide. You cannot nod along. You have to say what you think and then defend it. That format is why the degree works, and it is why our sessions run the same way.
A question just past your comfort zone. We start where the real thinking begins, not where the textbook does.
You reason your way toward the answer while we redirect. Being told the answer teaches you nothing you can reuse.
We stress-test what you have just said. If it holds, you have earned it. If it breaks, we rebuild it together.
Every session ends with something specific to do before the next one, and a clear sense of what you still do not know.
Why we started
Established consultancies charge around £85 an hour with packages in the thousands. Marketplace platforms sell student tutors by the hour with no structure at all. We thought there was room in between.
